Box Not Found: Stories - EBPL

We’re taking our fall/winter program, Box Not Found: Stories, to the East Boston Public Library! This performance is open to the public at no cost. This program will feature brand new works by composers Camila Agosto, Ariel Friedman and Ian Wiese.

Each composer has written a piece inspired by a story that has a significant impact in their personal life.

Box Not Found: Stories, with PERIDOT - NYC

Box Not Found is kicking off our second season with our newest program, Box Not Found: Stories, featuring brand new works by composers Ariel Friedman and Ian Wiese.

Each composer has written a piece inspired by a story that has a significant impact in their personal life.

This program is part of a double-billed performance alongside the new contemporary vocal duo, PERIDOT.

All proceeds will be donated to the NYC-based organization, Make The Road New York.

Box Not Found with Kalos, Live in Boston

Box Not Found will be joining Kalos for a double-billed concert, opening the evening with works by Mischa Salkind-Pearl, Icli Zitella and Andy Vores.

Kalos, featuring Anna K. Larson, voice (Frändefors, Sweden), Angela Shankar, clarinet (NYC), and Maria Finkelmeier, percussion (Boston), come together once again to perform new works and arrangements fusing their Swedish and American roots, including works by the ensemble and Beau Kenyon (Boston), Seth Bedford (NYC) and Gísli Jóhann Grétarsson (Oslo, Norway).

$15 suggested donation (BYOB, with a bit provided!)

Box Not Found: Introduction

Box Not Found kicks off their debut season with an introduction performance of pieces that have made our past and points towards our future. Our program includes works by Andy Vores, Mischa Salkind-Pearl, Icli Zitella (world premiere) and a set of improvisation alongside poetry by Natalie Calma.

As a part of this performance, Box Not Found will be collecting donations for the Unidos Por Puerto Rico Initiative. 100% of the proceeds raised during this performance will go to the foundation in support of the people of Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria.
